The Mexican Grand Prix faced a red flag on lap 34 following a significant collision that resulted in a blazing car beside the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez track.
Kevin Magnussen instigated the red flag at the Mexican Grand Prix after a vehicular malfunction led to his Haas car catching fire following exit at turn eight. The Danish driver subsequently became the second to retire from the race.
Prior to this, Magnussen had experienced several precarious moments, veering wide out of the final corner as he grappled with tyre degradation while contending with Williams driver Logan Sargeant.
